General questions
What is CBD?
Cannabidoil, commonly called CBD, is considered a natural remedy used for many common ailments.
It is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid rich in the hemp plant, meaning it will not get you high. This quality is an appealing option for those who are looking for a holistic way to manage anxiety, pain and sleeplessness.
The primary reason why CBD may have so many benefits is because it is directly connected to the Endocannabinoid system. CBD fits into the receptors of this system, promoting development and healing to neurotransmitters that are worn down by inflammation. This will help them function more effectively and help the body maintain overall wellness.
What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate products?
A Full Spectrum CBD product is one that is produced with full plant extraction. Meaning, the extraction includes all naturally occurring cannabinoids, flavonoids, plant terpenes, and much more that remain from the original hemp plant. These are known as CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN and a trace of THC and create the entourage effect. The legal limit of THC allowed is under .3%
A Broad Spectrum CBD product goes through a formulation that has been processed to remove any traces of THC. The other natural compounds remain, resulting in the entourage effect, but without the traces of THC. However, this is an option to consider if you have obligations which require you to get drug tested for THC.
CBD Isolate is a formulation that has been processed to remove every other molecule that isn’t CBD. The resulting product is at least 99% pure hemp-derived CBD with 0% THC. Isolate CBD products have limited therapeutic benefits as it only contains one single cannabinoid. The entourage effect is not applicable here.
what is the entourage effect?
Cannabinoids and terpenes in cannabis are thought to interact with each other as well as the brain's receptors. This interaction has been labeled “the entourage effect.” There's research being done to test the theory that the entourage effect makes taking THC and CBD together more effective than either alone. This is why Full Spectrum products are considered to give the greatest benefits.
how much cbd should i take?
We set a general recommendation of 20-25 mg of CBD per serving. If you are a person in chronic pain, start with 35-40 mg of CBD per serving.
If you are not feeling any relief after one hour, it is recommended that you slowly increase until your desired dose is ingested. Remember, it does take some time for your body to absorb and process CBD, so results will not be immediate. Although, the effects can last about 6-8 hours.

will cbd show up on a drug test?

All Budz Family CBD products are labeled to help you understand this. All Full Spectrum products are labeled with a + to show that you should test positive. Whereas all Broad Spectrum products are labeled with a - to show that you should test negative.
